Classes

Fitness has been a passion of mine for many years now, first developing at 15 years old after walking through the doors of my first boxing club. It only grew from there, losing weight, learning to box and most noticeably growing my confidence.

After some time at my first club, I began a boxing class every Sunday. It started small however over time has became an ever growing group of keep fitters and some of which now taking the sport in a more competitive matter, training to not only improve their fitness, but fight.

A varied number of other classes have been undertaken during my time as a coach, from taking the kids and juniors classes within my first club twice weekly, to working with Abington Primary School over a 5 week boxing course, not to mention the several classes and PTs currently underway. Sport Massage

In my early teenage years, receiving Sport Massage and Physiotherapy treatment was not uncommon. With back pain being a dominant factor in my day to day life even causing me to withdraw from my life as a boxer for a year, I was in and out of treatment rooms constantly, trying new things and new people every other month before finding someone who truly helped me. Having been with him for 5 years, I gained valuable knowledge, even before I undertook my studies in Sport Science and Sport Massage. This difference in treatment by so many professional's over the last 7 years has provided myself with a lot of much required technique and skills to implement within my own techniques and treatment methods.

Undertaking a short but intensive course through my time at University, Sport Massage quickly became a desired profession within my life, with the ability to help clients get passed the pain and injuries they may have being the most rewarding part.

As someone who has had both fantastic and very poor treatment received, I strongly believe in communication in this field of work. Feedback is a necessary part of my work, along with this, if I don't feel I can assist you using Sport Massage and Cupping, you will be provided with the correct path to follow for recovery.
